With all the work and much needed rest, I still found the time one morning before haying to paint a little. Found this super cute tutorial for cactus and practiced feathers again.
Arrived in Santiago, staying a couple nights in the super cute and environmentally friendly Hostel Tambo Verde. Walking around Santiago and especially the Barrio Bellavista, the murals are everywhere and so colorful! I especially like this one with all it represents Full of symbolism Plaza de las Armas and the cathedral, rebuilt 4 times after serious earthquakes Top of Cerro San Cristobal Hostal Tambo Verde A much needed travel tip found on Tourdumondiste: which banks do not charge a local fee for withdrawing money, a complete table of 33 countries , so useful! Scroll quite alot until finding the table 'FRAIS ET PLAFONDS DE RETRAIT DES BANQUES LOCALES PAR PAYS'.
A few years ago I read the book 'Miracle Morning' by Hal Erod - greatly recommended! And while I do not get up at 4:30 am every morning for the full Miracle Morning routine, it did motivate me to start the day with the '6-minute version' before 8am. I really enjoy taking the time in the morning before going to work to do something for myself, my personal development and my personal well-being. I either meditate, do yoga or strength training, journal or read. It gives a sense fulfillment to the whole day to come. Here in this beautiful place at ArsNaturalis I decided to try a new routine: one painting each day! Work starts at 8am so I have time to wake up earlier, do some yoga nad meditation than start painting :-) Of course using the many beautiful tutorials available like flowers by Jay Lee , watermelon by Yasmina Creates , or feathers by Let's Make Art and many more, there is such a richness of tutorials out there! Let's see how long I can keep this up :...
June 23rd - Beautiful scenery going from Adelboden up to Tierberg (2371m). With my 2 sisters and Dad for his birthday! The day before, misty weather at Engstligen Falls.
