A few days in paradise in ElquiTerra

Looking for a place to stay outside the city where I could see the stars and feel the serenity of the valley, I found ElquiTerra. I couldn't believe my eyes when I arrived, it was better than in the pictures. A feeling of well-being came over me and I spent the next days resting and healing from some emotional difficulties, hanging out in this magical place.

At night you can lay on the chairs and stare in awe at the dark sky full of stars. Look for the shooting stars - and make a wish!

This is my review for TripAdvisor:
This place is a paradise, peaceful and quiet yet very accessible by coletivo (collective taxi) from Vicuña (and also La Serena). The views on the mountains are stunning and you can lay on the chairs by the pool at night to see the millions of stars. During the day you can always find some shade  under trees on the many hammocks and chairs and of course the pool. The whole place is beautifully and tastefully designed. The kitchen is great to cook with all the utensils you need. There is bountiful herbs to pick for herbal tea or to cook (oregano, cilantro, mint, etc.). The breakfast is delicious. What made the place so special is also the owners: Roberto and Ale are sooo nice and helpful, so knowledgeable about the area and will try to help with everything they can to make your stay as best as possible. And of course it is super clean and the rooms and beds are so comfortable.

One day I will go back!

ElquiTerra website.

Their kitchen has all equipment needed to cook as I could prepare healthy meals of vegetables and salad with herbs from the garden

Super nice owners and delicious breakfast! And not even so expensive! 40 dollars a night even though it feels more like a 5-star exclusive resort.
