While I got 3 milliliters of milk after trying for 10 minutes, here is Steffi, one of the 2 shepherds on the Alp, milking a goat in about 30 seconds -  impressive!

Opening ceremony - Yoga Teacher Training: fire, beach, full moon and new community

'We are circling, circling together, we are singing, singing our hearts song, this is family, this is unity, this is celebration, this is sacred.' As we are circling around the fire singing over and over this beautiful song all together led by Inka with the drum and after being smudged with palo santo by Concetta, we all really arrive here, at Ojo del Mar, at this Yoga Teacher Training. The 15 of us students meet each other and connect with our teachers - this is our new community for the next 21 days. And what a way to start! Inka and Concetta immediately seem to be the perfect teachers, sharing their knowledge and making this spiritual space sacred and safe for what is to come. As I realize where I am, the full moon reflecting on the ocean waves and the orange fire making everyone's face glow, I feel I have arrived exactly where I need to be.  Smudging each of us with palo santo to purify the energy around us as we enter this new circle Full moon ref...

Aquarelle course in the mountains - Zermatt

With a sprain ankle needing 4 more weeks to heal, what can I do now that does not require taking care of cows nor hiking but that will still be in the mountain fresh air and contribute to my well-being and personal growth? Preferably sitting all day? Painting! My mother is a talented painter and has been going to painting course regularly each summer. I finally dared to do it myself, even though I have no talent in painting/drawing! Google was my friend: 'Aquarell Malkurs in den Bergen' and so I found the perfect course in the perfect place in spectacular Zermatt, at the perfect dates - starting the next day.  Link to artist and course The most impressive feeling: being aware of all of us in the group sitting spread out in front of stunning scenery, the whole day!
