These birds were really cute, running up and down the sand with the waves, picking some food when the waves were the lowest, then suddenly all flying off and coming back. A show to keep watching!
Arrived in Santiago, staying a couple nights in the super cute and environmentally friendly Hostel Tambo Verde. Walking around Santiago and especially the Barrio Bellavista, the murals are everywhere and so colorful! I especially like this one with all it represents Full of symbolism Plaza de las Armas and the cathedral, rebuilt 4 times after serious earthquakes Top of Cerro San Cristobal Hostal Tambo Verde A much needed travel tip found on Tourdumondiste: which banks do not charge a local fee for withdrawing money, a complete table of 33 countries , so useful! A few years ago I read the book 'Miracle Morning' by Hal Erod - greatly recommended! And while I do not get up at 4:30 am every morning for the full Miracle Morning routine, it did motivate me to start the day with the '6-minute version' before 8am. The 15 of us students meet each other and connect with our teachers - this is our new community for the next 21 days. And what a way to start! Inka and Concetta immediately seem to be the perfect teachers, sharing their knowledge and making this spiritual space sacred and safe for what is to come. As I realize where I am, the full moon reflecting on the ocean waves and the orange fire making everyone's face glow, I feel I have arrived exactly where I need to be. Smudging each of us with palo santo to purify the energy around us as we enter this new circle Full moon ref...
